Mike and Martha Henderson were teachers in Kenya who saw the need to help their African students fulfill their visions for ministry in their own communities. They established a mission 35 years ago to provide resources for indigenous African initiatives. Now, hundreds of American friends have come to see the effectiveness of investing in the dreams of faithful African workers without creating a dependency on outside support. That network of helpers is called Heart of Africa. They help their African friends in 18 countries do what God has called them to do.
