While you’re focusing on worship, we focus on your kids.
CHILDREN’S COMFORT ROOM
We understand what it’s like to have little ones who aren’t ready to leave you – and vice versa. That’s why we provide a soundproof Children’s Comfort Room with a glass wall and speakers to allow you to view and hear the service while you care for your child. You will find this room on the north side of our Main Auditorium.
For newborns to fifth-graders, our staff and volunteer teams have designed worship and learning experiences (offered during adult worship times) that are best suited to your child’s age and interests. It’s our desire to begin teaching them from an early age that following Jesus is an exciting and fulfilling journey worth every step along the way.
To get your child started, stop by the Children’s Check-in Desk located in the Student Atrium, close to Entrance No. 1. The Check-in Team will ask you to provide information about your child, such as allergies and emergency contact information.
BIRTH TO KINDERGARTEN
Crossroads has a wonderful team of staff and volunteers in each of our four weekend services that is convinced faith begins in the earliest years of a person’s life. They are dedicated to providing the most caring and secure environment possible to teach kids about God’s love right from the start.
For our first- through fifth-graders, each Sunday morning begins with an age- and gender-specific small group that connects through conversation and activities while introducing the weekend topic.
Half-way through the service time, all the students move to the Backlot Auditorium for Kids Worship Live - a time of worship, skits, creative teaching and, of course, fun contests and games.
Pastor Mike Fuqua, Randi Weeks, and Sherry Moore are the team that lead our elementary-age children.
MIDDLE SCHOOL STUDENTS
Our Ignite program is led by Pastor Max Johnson and a team of volunteers who are passionate and dedicated to connecting on a genuine level with Middle School students.
The Ignite experience begins with a high-octane worship time led by a team of adults and students, followed by an engaging time of teaching. Ignite services are offered on select Thursdays from 6 to 7:30pm. After worship, students will break into elective classes.
Small groups meet Wednesdays from 6 to 7:30pm and Sundays at 9 and 11am.
HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS
nine.12 is our High School worship service tailored specifically for students in grades 9-12. Two statements drive nine.12:
Be Changed. Be Change.
We believe that High School students can have a true, passionate and impacting faith. So our services provide opportunities for students to learn the teachings of Jesus Christ to be changed from the inside out. Then, recognizing that God wants to work through us to reach people, nine.12 provides opportunities for students to serve others, to be the change in their local communities and the world.
