What I do at Crossroads
I am responsible for helping to fulfill one of our core values: We Become More Like Jesus Together
* Helping people connect and embrace the value of community. We are not meant to do life alone. Discipleship takes place in a group environment which results in growing in Christ and with one another.
When I Joined the Team
I grew up in the snow belt of NorthEast Ohio where I loved to play basketball, volleyball, fish, barefoot, ski and ride snowmobiles. I graduated from THE Ohio State University in '98 with a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Design: GO BUCKS! I designed the interior of automobiles for 15 years before being called into full-time ministry.
I married my best friend Tica on December 22, 2000 in a prayer chapel on the campus of Taylor University where Tica graduated from. We were blessed with our first child Vance on April 12th, 2003 and our second child Mackenzie-Ruth on September 15th, 2005. We also love our German Shepherd Portia who was born in October of 2013 and our Belgian Malinois Mollee who was born in June of 2011.
I enjoy anything outdoors with my family: wakeboarding/surfing, snowmobiling, snowboarding, mountain biking and camping. I also enjoy anything with a motor (except a lawn mower) but especially classic cars and motorcycles. I was on the Ohio State Water Ski Team. We have moved 9 times locally in 16 years. We planted a church in the Peru area.
1 Corinthians 9:22 To the weak I became weak, to win the weak. I have become all things to all people so that by all possible means I might save some. 23 I do all this for the sake of the gospel, that I may share in its blessings.
Mark 16:15 And he said to them, “Go into all the world and proclaim the gospel to the whole creation.
